Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has been called up to England’s Under-20 side.
The 18-year-old scored twice on his senior debut for United and followed that up with another double in his first ever Premier League match – a 3-2 victory over Arsenal.
Rashford is part of the Under-20 squad that will take on Canada at Doncaster Rovers’s Keepmoat Stadium on March 27. The striker has previously featured for England’s Under-16 and 18 teams.
Following Rashford’s impressive introduction, there had been calls for the forward to be handed a senior England call-up, but it now appears unlikely that he will feature for Roy Hodgson’s side before Euro 2016.
